Here we want to share with you our love and devotion to the wonderful breed of French Bulldogs. These dogs have been a part of our lives since 1990 when we first got our irresistible Frenchie boy, and since then we have never been without one.
Our dogs mean the world to us and we think they are very special. They enjoy some success in the show ring but more importantly for us, they are our best friends and their qualities are appreciated every day and not just on show days !
We only breed 3-5 litters per year, and when we do, health and temperament are our top priorities. Our puppies are healthy and acquire the best features of the breed. Being raised in a warm and loving family atmosphere, our puppies are very friendly and sociable, carrying the best characteristics of the French Bulldog personality. We believe that puppies reared in a home are better acclimatized to the home environment and therefore settle easily into their new homes.
French bulldogs are an ideal family pets and companions, and they will give you years of faithful love and devotion .

As breeders, we are dedicated to producing healthy, well tempered bulldogs with correct conformation to meet the bulldog standard. We are not a kennel and our dogs are not bred for financial purposes. Anyone who has done their research on bulldogs will know that they are a very unique breed requiring special attention specific to their needs.
Here at Ricky, we do selective breeding. This involves being very particular about the dogs we choose to breed. Intermittent line breeding (the key word being “intermittent”) along with frequent out-crossing is only one approach that we use to accentuate and sustain the high quality and excellence of our pups. Our goal is to contribute and improve upon the health, longevity, structure, movement and temperament of the bulldog breed, not to hinder it.
We perform as through of a genetic assessment as possible on all dogs that we are considering breeding. This includes hip x-rays (which are submitted to the OFA for evaluation and certification) spine x-rays, eye testing (sent to the Canine Eye Registration Foundation for certification) and cleared of any heart defects. Although these tests do not provide a 100% guarantee, it is a substantial step towards ensuring that our pups are born healthy and will remain that way throughout their lives.
All of our breedings are carefully thought out and specifically initiated to improve our own breeding program. We have thoroughly researched the ancestry of every one of our dogs to ensure we are acquiring healthy compatible bloodlines.
Our pups live in the house with us and are well socialized before leaving us. They are all de-wormed, vaccinated and checked by our vet on predetermined schedules to ensure that they are healthy and growing well.
We put a lot of thought into finding the best homes possible for our pups. This includes providing lifetime support to new puppy owners and helping in any way we can for the life of the dogs we are responsible for bringing into this world.
